Dayang beach resort
The beach has a white sand and its turquoise waters is ideal for swimming and sun bating while sipping a fresh buko juice and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the place.
Dayang consist of 4 small cottages that could accommodate two persons for those who would like to stay overnight. They will provide beddings, pillows and blankets. Sleeping on your tent is also a good idea but only applicable when the weather is fine otherwise it might ruin your tent because of strong winds during night time.
On a day tour they have table rentals that could accommodate up to 10 people, but look for a place with a good shade to protect you from the heat of the sun because it has no roof.
The beach is a blend of white sand and coral stones so don’t forget to bring with you your sandals to protect your feet from these things. During the day expect boats to dock at the place that carries an amount of guests these are island hoppers and stays only for an hour at the resort. If you plan to go to Dayang just be sure to carry a gallon of drinking water since water at the resort in not for free. A container of bathing water is sold at 20 pesos I just don’t know the price of drinking water : ) and of course food to load you up.
Electricity is only available from 6 p.m. up to 3 a.m. in the morning so if you have gadgets that need to be recharge do it on the evening since no electricity during the day. Your other needs will be facilitated by the resort’s caretaker Ms. Marilou Villahermosa.
To get here you can choose to ride 3 boats from sta ana wharf: MVPacific , MV Shirley or MV Gracee from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. regular fare is at 60 pesos per head. The ride would took 1 hour to reach the pier of Santa cruz, Talicud. Then take another ride by a motorcycle towards dayang. The ride was a bit uneasy for those people who are not used to it because of its uneven and steeply roads. But don’t worry about it because habal-habal drivers are skillful enough to prevail on this bumpy ride.
